A 1 Cross Bar with European facing to 94/20/EC A50-1
B 1 Side Bracket
C 1 Side Bracket
D 2 Brace Plate
E 2 Cage Nut Carrier
F 5 Existing Towing Eye Bracket Bolts with additional Witter M12 Lock Washers and Plain Washers.
G 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75mm pitch Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers.
H 2 M12 x 35 x 1.75mm pitch Bolts, Lock Washers, Flat Washers and Witter Cage Nuts.
J 2 M12 x 35 x 1.75mm pitch Bolts, Lock Washers, Flat Washers and Witter Cage Nuts.
K 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75mm pitch Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers.
ZE 1 Retractable Electrical Plate
ZN 1 Neck Kit
FITTING
1. Remove Towing Eye Bracket from right hand chassis rail and retain the bolts (F) for future use.
2. Remove the Bumper Retaining Plate from the edge of the vehicles rear panel and lower bumper edge. (5 screws)
3. Remove Bumper (3 Wheel arch screws, 2 screws in tailgate corners, tip screw in wheel arch.)
4. Remove Inner Bumper Beam.
5. Loosely Assemble Side Bracket (C) to chassis rail using original Towing Eye Bracket holes and Bolts (F).
6. Loosely Assemble Brace Plate (D) to Side Bracket (C) using fasteners (G). Also secure Brace Plate (D) to the side of
the Chassis Rail using existing bolts (F)
7. Pre-assemble Witter Cage Nuts (H & J) to each Cage Nut Carrier (E)
8. Loosely assemble remaining Brace Plate (D) to side of left hand chassis rail using fasteners (H) and Cage Nut Carrier
(E)
9. Loosely Assemble Side Bracket (B) to left hand chassis rail using fasteners (J), remaining Cage Nut Carrier (E), and
existing Bolt (F) originally used on the towing eye bracket that was removed (Instruction 1).
10. Secure Brace Plate (D) to Side Arm (B) using remaining fasteners (G)
11. Loosely assemble Cross Bar (A) to each Side Bracket (B & C) using fasteners (K)
12. Assembly the chosen Neck Kit (ZN) and Retractable Electrical Plate (ZE) to Cross Bar (A) using fasteners and
instructions from the Kits.
13. Fully Tighten all fasteners starting with fasteners (K)
14. Refit Inner Bumper Beam.
15. Cut Bumper as shown and refit to vehicle.
16. Refit Bumper Retaining Plate between Bumper lower edge and vehicle rear panel.
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200 Nm
Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
