  • Page 5 Introductory comment SENTRY 141M is a floor scrubbing machine which, by means of the mechanical action of the rotating brush and the chemical action of a water/detergent solution, can clean any type of flooring. As it advances, it also collects any removed dirt as well as the detergent solution not absorbed by the floor.

  • Page 9 SENTRY 141M E is easy to transport even by car. The total flexibility of the handlebar enables it to be folded, and the machine can then be placed in the boot of the car with the assistance of a colleague, with no need to disassemble any of the elements.
  • Page 10 PREPARATION OF THE MACHINE 4. INSERTING/CONNECTING THE BATTERIES In the CB version, the machine is supplied with a built-in battery charger and an airtight gel battery. If you use batteries other than those supplied with the machine, use only BATTERIA LI-ION 12V 50Ah and proceed as follows.

When replacing the battery, be sure to use batteries that are suitable for the battery charger installed (use only 12V AGM or Gel batteries). To charge the battery you must: 1.

  • Page 15 PREPARATION OF THE MACHINE ATTENTION: Always use detergents whose manufacturer's label indicates their suitability for use with floor scrubbing machines. Do not use acid or alkaline products or solvents without this indication. always use low-foam detergent. To avoid the production of foam, put a minimum quantity of antifoam liquid in the recovery tank before starting to clean.
  • Page 16 WORK 1. PREPARING TO WORK Before fitting the tanks, it is necessary to carry out certain operations: 1. Open the two rear hinges of the battery compartment. 2. Connect the connector to the batteries. 3. Close the battery compartment. 4. Make sure that the recovery tank is empty. 5.

  • Page 18 AT THE END OF THE WORK At the end of the work, and before carrying out any type of maintenance, perform the following operations: 1. Turn off the solenoid valve switch (3). 2. Turn off the suction switch (2). 3. Turn off the brush / main switch (1). 4.
  • Page 19 DAILY MAINTENANCE PERFORM ALL MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS IN SEQUENCE CLEANING THE RECOVERY TANK 1. Remove the tubes attached to the connectors of the recovery tank cap. 2. Disconnect the recovery tank from the handlebars. 3. Remove the cap and empty the tank. 4.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SAFETY The machine is fitted with self-restoring safety fuses located in the electric system (beneath the solution tank) that interrupt the power supply to the brush and suction motors when the machine exceeds the predetermined load. To restore the power supply to the motor, switch off the machine and wait for the fuses to cool down (about 40 seconds).

MOVIMIENTO Y TRANSPORTE DE LA MÁQUINA DESEMBALADA SENTRY 141M es una máquina que puede controlarse en cualquier situación y puede transportarse sin esfuerzo alguno incluso en pequeños vehículos. Es necesario simplemente levantar la parte delantera haciendo palanca sobre el manillar de la máquina y, aprovechando las grandes ruedas posteriores, puede arrastrarse por cualquier parte y cargarse en un furgón utilizando una simple rampa.
  • Page 31 PREPARACIÓN DE LA MÁQUINA 4. COLOCACIÓN/CONEXIÓN DE LAS BATERÍAS La máquina, en su versión CB, se suministra ya con cargador de baterías incorporado y batería hermética de gel. Si se utilizaran baterías diferentes de las suministradas junto con la máquina, usar sólo baterías BATTERIA LI-ION 12V 50Ah.

En el caso de sustitución de la batería, asegurarse de utilizar baterías adecuadas al cargador de baterías instalado (utilizar sólo baterías 12V AGM o Gel).

Los números que aparecen en el display indican aproximadamente el nivel de carga. 4 = carga máxima 3 = carga ¾ 2 = carga 2/4 1 = carga 1/4 0 = baterías descargadas (destello)
  • Page 35 PREPARACIÓN DE LA MÁQUINA 11. FIJACIÓN MANILLAR El manillar, que por motivos de embalaje se suministra plegado, deberá colocarse en posición de trabajo. Para hacer esto proceder como sigue: 1. Levantar el manillar tirando hacia arriba la palanca indicada por la flecha. 2.

  • Page 37 TRABAJO 1. PREPARACIÓN PARA EL TRABAJO Antes de colocar los tanques se deben realizar algunas operaciones: 1. Abrir las dos bisagras traseras del habitáculo baterías. 2. Conectar el conector a las baterías. 3. Cerrar el habitáculo baterías. 4. Controlar que el tanque de recuperación esté vacío. 5.
  • Page 38 3. AVANCE La tracción de estas máquinas se consigue por medio de los cepillos, que trabajan levemente inclinados y traccionan de esta manera la máquina hacia adelante. ATENCIÓN: Si se desplaza la máquina marcha atrás, aunque sea por breves tramos, controlar que la boquilla de aspiración esté levantada. ESP - pag.
  • Page 39 AL FINALIZAR EL USO Al término del trabajo y antes de realizar cualquier tipo de mantenimiento, realizar las siguientes operaciones: 1. Apagar el interruptor de la electroválvula (3). 2. Apagar el interruptor aspiración (2). 3. Apagar el interruptor cepillo / general (1). 4.
  • Page 40 MANUTENCIÓN DIARIA REALIZAR TODAS LAS OPERACIONES DE MANTENIMIENTO EN SECUENCIA 1. LIMPIEZA TANQUE SOLUCIÓN 1. Quitar los tubos conectados a los racores del tapón del tanque de recuperación. 2. Desconectar el tanque de recuperación del manillar. 3. Quitar el tapón y vaciar el tanque. 4.
  • Page 41 MANTENIMIENTO DIARIO 3. SUSTITUCIÓN DE LAS GOMAS DE LA BOQUILLAS DE ASPIRACIÓN Controlar el desgaste de las gomas boquilla de aspiración y eventualmente cambiarlas. Para sustituirlas es necesario: 1. Levantar la boquilla de aspiración. 2. Quitar las dos manivelas. 3. Desmontar la boquilla de aspiración del soporte. 4.
  • Page 42 MANUTENCIÓN PERIÓDICA 1. LIMPIEZA TUBO BOQUILLA DE ASPIRACIÓN Periódicamente o en caso de aspiración insuficiente, controlar que el tubo de la boquilla de aspiración no esté atascado. Para limpiarlo proceder de la siguiente manera: 1. Quitar el tubo del manguito en la boquilla de aspiración. 2.

SEGURIDAD INSTALACIÓN ELÉCTRICA La máquina cuenta con fusibles de seguridad autorregenerables, colocados en la instalación eléctrica (bajo el tanque solución), que interrumpen la corriente de alimentación del motor cepillos y del motor aspiración cuando la máquina supera la carga predeterminada. Para volver a dar corriente al motor, hay que apagar la máquina y esperar a que los fusibles se enfríen (unos 40 segundos).

  • Page 52 PRÉPARATION DE LA MACHINE 4. MONTAGE/BRANCHEMENT DES BATTERIES La machine en version CB est fournie avec le chargeur de batterie incorporé et une batterie hermétique gel. En cas d'utilisation de batteries différentes de celles fournies avec la machine, utiliser seulement des batteries BATTERIA LI-ION 12V 50Ah et procéder comme suit.

ATTENTION : cette opération doit être réalisée par du personnel qualifié. Le branchement incorrect des câbles sur le connecteur peut entraîner des dommages graves aux personnes ou aux choses.

En cas de remplacement de la batterie s'assurer d'utiliser des batteries adaptées au chargeur de batterie installé (utiliser seulement des batteries 12V AGM ou Gel). Pour recharger la batterie, il faut agir comme suit : 1.

Pour le processus de réglage suivre la procédure suivante : 1. Soulever le guidon en tirant vers le haut le levier indiqué par la flèche. 2.

  • Page 64 CONTRÔLE DU FONCTIONNEMENT 1. SÉCURITÉ DE L'INSTALLATION ÉLECTRIQUE. La machine est équipée de fusibles de sûreté auto-rétablissant, situés dans l'installation électrique (sous le réservoir solution), qui interrompent la tension du moteur brosses et du moteur aspiration quand la machine dépasse la charge prédéfinie. Pour réalimenter le moteur, il est nécessaire d'éteindre la machine et attendre le refroidissement des fusibles (environ 40 secondes).
