S.A.V.E. (Second Audio Source for Video
Editing) SYSTEM Function
This feature lets you replace the sound from a VCR or
VDP with sound from an AUDIO source such as CD
during video signal dubbing.

Playback
1. Select the audio source with the function buttons
{including AM/FM buttons).
Note: The video signals from the VCR 2/VDP can
always be dubbed to VCR 1, regardless of the
settings of the function buttons, etc.
2. Operate the VCR 2/VDP and the selected audio
component for playback.
3. Operate the VCR 1 for recording. In this way, the
S.A.V.E. operation will be performed.

FUNCTION
As long as the power plug is connected to a wall
outlet, the preset station memories
(described on
page 14) and the following items set before the
receiver was switched off are maintained indefinitely.
They are retained in memory for about 4 hours even if
the power plug is disconnected from the wall outlet.
