l When the "Emergency notification setting" screen appears, read the on-screen messages carefully. Follow
the on-screen instructions. You can set the "Emergency notification setting" after the setup of Windows is
complete.

Create a recovery disc
n How to create a recovery disc
Connect to the Internet before creating a recovery disc.
Note that the Windows version of the recovery disc to be created may be newer than the version at the
time of factory shipment.

IMPORTANT
l Create the recovery disc as soon as Windows setup is completed. If the recovery area is accidentally de-
leted, Windows may not be reinstalled without the recovery disc. This case may require repair.
