27 Level control for the total signal of the Aux

send way 2 which is available at the output
AUX SEND 2 (21) as well as sent to the inter-
nal effect processor

SOURCE buttons to select which signals are
monitored via the headphone output (23) and
the CONTROL ROOM output (54) and dis-
played by the level indication (43):
– button 2-TR / USB (28) for the input signal
of the jacks CD / TAPE INPUT (18) and of
the USB jack (46)
– button ALT 3 – 4 (29) for the output signal
of the master channels ALT 3 – 4
– button MAIN MIX (30) for the output signal
of master channels MAIN MIX
If several SOURCE buttons are engaged, the
mixed signal of the corresponding sources is
monitored and displayed.
Note: The monitoring signals selected with the but-
tons SOLO (
see items 14 and 26) take priority,
i. e. if at least one button SOLO is pressed, the sig-
nals selected with the buttons SOURCE are not
monitored/displayed.
31 Level controls (faders) for the alternative
master channels ALT 3 (Left) and ALT 4
(Right); the sum signal ALT 3 – 4 is available
at the output ALT 3 – 4 OUTPUTS (53)
32 Level indication for the input signal of the
internal effect processor, in case of overload
(LED CLIP lights up) accordingly turn back

shows the number of the selected effect; if a
dot is shown behind the number, the effect
processor is switched off

Turn the rotary switch until the effect number
(flashing) is shown on the display (33), then
shortly press the rotary switch to confirm. The
number stops flashing, the effect is selected.

2 Safety Notes
The unit corresponds to all relevant directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with
WARNING The unit is supplied with haz-
ardous mains voltage. Leave serv-
icing to skilled personnel only. Do
not insert anything into the air
vents. Inexpert handling or modifi-
cation of the unit may cause an
electric shock hazard.
It is essential to observe the following items:

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity, and heat (admissible ambi-
ent temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

Do not place any vessels filled with liquid, e. g.
drinking glasses, on the unit.

The heat being generated in the unit must be
carried off by air circulation. Therefore, the air
vents at the housing must not be covered.
G
Do not set the unit into operation, or immedi-
ately disconnect the mains plug from the
mains socket if
1. there is visible damage to the unit or to the
mains cable,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or
similar accident,
3. malfunctions occur.
The unit must in any case be repaired by
skilled personnel.

Never pull the mains cable to disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket, always
seize the plug.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never
use chemicals or water.

No guarantee claims for the unit and no liabil-
ity for any resulting personal damage or mate-
rial damage will be accepted if the unit is used
for other purposes than originally intended, if it
is not correctly connected or operated, or not
repaired in an expert way.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral
brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of
this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yel-
low must be connected to the terminal in the
plug which is marked with the letter E or by
the earth symbol
, or coloured green or
green and yellow.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured black.
