First steps

EN
Remove any protective films where applied.
Press the on/off button (5) , and the instrument will align itself on its own. Make
sure that the instrument is not on too much of a slope (within 5°). If the slope of
the instrument should exceed 5°, the lasers will flash automatically.
Preferably use a stable surface, or use a tripod to obtain the propper alignment.

Horizontal alignment

Press the on/off button (5), and provide the instrument is within its levelling
range, the horizontal line will be automatically leveled.
The horizontal line can be activated or deactivated using the "H" button (10).
If possible, it is recommended that the horizontal line should be placed at
working height. This will improve the work quality.
NB: cross line lasers can only be used on tripods which are adjustable in height,
such as cranked or telescopic tripods.
Before using a tripod, you can remove the base (8). Choose only tripods with 5/8"
fillet.
If the workplace is very brightly lit, e.g. out of doors, it may be necessary to use
the laser receiver.

Hold Function

Press the "hold" button (6) on the keypad to activate the "hold" function.
As soon as the alignment is interrupted, the laser stops turning, and the LED
above the "hold" button (6) starts flashing.
If this happens, you need to re-align the laser on the correct height.
Press the "hold" button (6) again, to deactivate the "hold" function.
If you want to reactivate the "hold" function, you need to repeat these steps.
