OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Locking and unlocking he sliding cutng head
• The sliding cutng head is locked or ranspor. The locking pin mus be removed beore use.
• Remove he locking pin o he sliding cutng head. Now he cutng head can be moved orwards and backwards along he guides.
• Warning: The sliding cutng head should be locked beore any mainenance work, ranspor or during sorage.
• To lock he cutng head, inser he locking pin.
• Push he sliding cutng head orward.
Filling the tank with water
• Move he engine orward ar enough o expose he waer ank underneah.
• Fill he ank wih clean waer. Do no add any chemicals or deergens o he waer. Make sure he pump is well below he waer level.
• Waer can be opped up or replaced as necessary while he uni is running.
Cutng
• Ensure ha he cutng locaon is marked on he le.
• Move he cutng head slowly backwards and orwards o check ha he blade is no in conac wih he cutng groove on he op o he able or wih he
deph sop on he back edge o he able.
• Til he cutng head backwards o place he le on he able.
• Sar he machine wih he swich and wai or he blade o spin up o ull speed. Make sure he blade looks we.
• Wih boh hands, res he le securely on he deph sop locaed on he rear edge o he cutng head.
• Warning: Under no circumsances mus your hands or ngers exend over he grooves on he back edge o he work able. When cutng, he blade will
move ino his area.
• Slowly press he sliding cutng head and le orward owards he blade. Move he le smoohly owards he blade. Do no use oo much orce/pressure.
• Careully cu he le along he marked line.
• Do no cu wihou waer. Make sure he blade is we. Check he waer level in he waer ank requenly and op i up as ofen as necessary. Make sure he
pump is well below he waer level.
• I he moor slows down, slow down he rae a which he le is moved or wihdraw he le in a smooh manner.
• Wipe he uni wih a sponge o reduce dir build-up. Make sure he uni is swiched o when doing his.
• Swich o he uni by pressing he ON/OFF swich. Wai or he blade o sop by isel. Do no sop he blade manually by grasping i wih your hands or by
pushing i up wih anoher objec.
• Warning: Do no remove blocked pars or residue in he blade i he blade is roang. Wai or he blade o sop by isel.
• Remove he power cord's plug rom he socke afer using he uni. Empy he waer ank, clean he uni and he pump. Lock he sliding cutng head beore
carrying ou mainenance work and beore ranspor or sorage.
Diagonal cut
• Loosen he angle gauge knob.
• Place he angle gauge on he side sop on he back edge o he work able.
• Se he angle gauge a he required disance.
• Lock he knob again.
• Unscrew he angle adjusmen knob a he op.
• Se he required angle (0° o 45°).
• Lock he angle adjusmen knob again.
• Place he le on he angle gauge.
45° bevel cut
• Til he sliding cutng head back so ha he blade is no on he able.
• Loosen he angle adjusmen knob on he sides o he rame.
• Posion he cutng head a a 45° angle.
• Lock he angle adjusmen knob again.
• Lock he heigh adjusmen knob again.
• Se he angle o he guide o 45°.
• Til he sliding cutng head slowly orward and ensure ha he blade is no in conac wih he cutng groove on he op o he able or wih he sop on he
rear edge o he able.
Use o an addional handle
• An exension bracke can be used o provide addional suppor or larger les i required.
• Exend he exension handle locaed on he lef side o he work able o he required disance, bu do no remove i rom he work able.
• Tighen he wo knobs on he wo rods o lock.
• Slide he side sop upwards.
• Place he le on he work able sop and on he side sop o he exension handle.
