OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Locking and unlocking he sliding cutng head
• The sliding cutng head is locked or ranspor. The locking pin mus be removed beore use.
• Remove he locking pin o he sliding cutng head. Now he cutng head can be moved orwards and backwards along he guides.
• Warning: The sliding cutng head should be locked beore any mainenance work, ranspor or during sorage.
• To lock he cutng head, inser he locking pin.
• Push he sliding cutng head orward.
Filling the tank with water
• Move he engine orward ar enough o expose he waer ank underneah.
• Fill he ank wih clean waer. Do no add any chemicals or deergens o he waer. Make sure he pump is well below he waer level.
• Waer can be opped up or replaced as necessary while he uni is running.
Cutng
• Ensure ha he cutng locaon is marked on he le.
• Move he cutng head slowly backwards and orwards o check ha he blade is no in conac wih he cutng groove on he op o he able or wih he
deph sop on he back edge o he able.
• Til he cutng head backwards o place he le on he able.
• Sar he machine wih he swich and wai or he blade o spin up o ull speed. Make sure he blade looks we.
• Wih boh hands, res he le securely on he deph sop locaed on he rear edge o he cutng head.
• Warning: Under no circumsances mus your hands or ngers exend over he grooves on he back edge o he work able. When cutng, he blade will
move ino his area.
• Slowly press he sliding cutng head and le orward owards he blade. Move he le smoohly owards he blade. Do no use oo much orce/pressure.
• Careully cu he le along he marked line.
• Do no cu wihou waer. Make sure he blade is we. Check he waer level in he waer ank requenly and op i up as ofen as necessary. Make sure he
pump is well below he waer level.
• I he moor slows down, slow down he rae a which he le is moved or wihdraw he le in a smooh manner.
• Wipe he uni wih a sponge o reduce dir build-up. Make sure he uni is swiched o when doing his.
• Swich o he uni by pressing he ON/OFF swich. Wai or he blade o sop by isel. Do no sop he blade manually by grasping i wih your hands or by
pushing i up wih anoher objec.
• Warning: Do no remove blocked pars or residue in he blade i he blade is roang. Wai or he blade o sop by isel.
• Remove he power cord's plug rom he socke afer using he uni. Empy he waer ank, clean he uni and he pump. Lock he sliding cutng head beore
carrying ou mainenance work and beore ranspor or sorage.
Diagonal cut
• Loosen he angle gauge knob.
• Place he angle gauge on he side sop on he back edge o he work able.
• Se he angle gauge a he required disance.
• Lock he knob again.
• Unscrew he angle adjusmen knob a he op.
• Se he required angle (0° o 45°).
• Lock he angle adjusmen knob again.
• Place he le on he angle gauge.
45° bevel cut
• Til he sliding cutng head back so ha he blade is no on he able.
• Loosen he angle adjusmen knob on he sides o he rame.
• Posion he cutng head a a 45° angle.
• Lock he angle adjusmen knob again.
• Lock he heigh adjusmen knob again.
• Se he angle o he guide o 45°.
• Til he sliding cutng head slowly orward and ensure ha he blade is no in conac wih he cutng groove on he op o he able or wih he sop on he
rear edge o he able.
Use o an addional handle
• An exension bracke can be used o provide addional suppor or larger les i required.
• Exend he exension handle locaed on he lef side o he work able o he required disance, bu do no remove i rom he work able.
• Tighen he wo knobs on he wo rods o lock.
• Slide he side sop upwards.
• Place he le on he work able sop and on he side sop o he exension handle.
