SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: Read he manual careully beore use. Failure o ollow he warnings and insrucons may resul in ool damage, physical injury

Work area safety
• Keep he work area clean and well li. Dark or cluered areas could lead o accidens.
• Do no operae power ools in explosive amospheres, such as in he presence o ammable liquids or umes, gases or dus. Power ools could creae sparks
which may ignie he gases or umes.
• Keep children and bysanders a a sae disance while operang he power ool.
Electrical safety
• Make sure ha power ool plugs mach he oule. Do no ever modiy he plug in any way. Do no use adaper plugs wih earhed power ools. Using
unmodied plugs and maching oules will reduce he risk o elecric shock.
• Avoid body conac wih earhed or grounded maerials or objecs, such as radiaors, pipes, ranges and rerigeraors. There is an remendous risk o elecric
shock i your body is earhed or grounded.
• Do no expose power ools o rain or any oher we condions. Waer enering a power ool could increase he risk o elecric shock.
• Do no abuse he power cord. Never use he cord or carrying, pulling or unplugging he elecric ool. Keep he cord in a sae disance rom hea, oil, sharp
edges and any moving pars. Damaged or enangled cords will increase he risk o elecric shock.
• When operang an elecric power ool oudoors, use an exension cable which has he appropriae specicaons or oudoor use. Use o a an exension
cable suiable or oudoor use reduces he risk o elecric shock.
• I operang a power ool in a damp locaon canno be avoided, use a residual curren device (RCD) proeced supply. Use o an RCD reduces he risk o
elecric shock.
Personal safety
• Say aler, wach wha you are doing and use common sense when operang he power ool. Do no use he power ool i you are eeling red or are under
he inuence o alcohol, drugs, or medicaon. A momen o inaenon while operang he power ool may resul in serious personal injury.
• Use personal proecve equipmen. Always wear eye proecon. Proecve equipmen such as a dus mask, hearing proecon, non-skid saey shoes or
proecve helmes, used in appropriae condions will reduce he risk o susaining personal injuries.
• Preven uninenonal sarng. Ensure he power swich is in he o-posion beore connecng o power source and/or baery pack, picking up or carrying
he power ool. Carrying power ools wih your nger on he power swich or connecng power ools ha have he swich in he on posion o a power
source can lead o accidens.
• Remove any adjusng keys or wrenches beore urning on he power ool. An adjusng key or a wrench lef aached o a roang par o he power ool
may resul in personal injury.
• Do no overreach. Keep balance and proper oong a all mes. This helps he operaor have beer conrol o he power ool in unexpeced siuaons.
• Dress properly. Do no wear loose clohing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clohing and gloves away rom any moving pars. Loose clohes, jewellery and/or
long hair can be caugh in moving pars.
Power tool use and care
• Do no orce he power ool. Use he correc power ool or he each applicaon. The correc power ool will always do he job beer and saer when used
as inended.
• Do no use he power ool i he swich does no urn acvae or deacvae i. Any power ool ha canno be conrolled wih he swich is exremely
dangerous and mus be repaired.
• Disconnec he main plug rom he power source and/or he baery pack rom he power ool beore changing accessories, making any adjusmens, or
soring he power ool. Such prevenve saey measures will reduce he risk o sarng he power ool accidenally.
• When he power ool is no in use, sore i ou o he reach o children and do no allow persons unamiliar wih he power ool or hese insrucons o use
and operae he power ool. Power ools are exremely dangerous in he hands o unrained users.
• Mainain he power ool. Check or misalignmen or binding o moving pars, breakage o pars, leakage and any oher issue ha may aec he power ool's
operaon. I damaged, have he power ool repaired beore use. Many accidens and injuries are caused by poorly mainained power ools.
• Keep he cutng pars o he power ool sharp and clean. Properly mainained cutng ools wih sharp cutng edges are less likely o bind and are more
precise and easier o conrol.
• Always use he power ool, accessories and ool bis ec. in accordance wih he insrucons o his insrucon manual, aking ino accoun he working
condions and he work ha is o be perormed. Use o he power ool or applicaons dieren rom hose inended could resul in personal injury or cause
damage o he power ool.
• Keep he handles and any grasping suraces o he power ool dry, clean and ree o oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping suraces do no allow or
sae handling o he ool in unexpeced circumsances.
Service
• Have he power ool serviced by qualied service personnel, using only idencal replacemen pars. This will ensure ha he saey o he power ool is
mainained.
• I he power cord is damaged, do no use he power ool. The cord mus be replaced by he manuacurer, is service agen or similarly qualied persons.
