Instructions for Radio
FREQUENCY-BAND
The frequency-band is a group of 6 pre-determined radio-stations.
This Unit disposes of 3 FM-bands and 2 AM-bands.
Please select the requested Frequency-Band on the display, according to the following sequence:

FM2
CHANGING THE FREQUENCIES
Automatic Tuning
To automatically tune on the subsequent Radio-Station, select
Touch-Screen.
To automatically tune on the previous Radio-Station, select
Manual Tuning
Keep
pressed, to switch to a higher Frequency (example 87.50, 87.55)
Keep
pressed, to switch to a lower Frequency (example 105.50, 105.00).
MEMORIZING the RADIO-STATIONS
On the remote-control unit, press the requested memorized radio-station (from 1 to 6) until this station
appears on the display.
PRE-SELECTED CHANNELS
On the Display, press C01, C02, C03, C04, C05 or C06 to choose these pre-selected channels.
AF (Alternative Frequency)
In case of bad AF-reception, the Unit will automatically switch to a more powerful signal of the same
radio-station.
TA (Traffic Announcements )
By pressing the TA-key, the Unit will give priority to the research of Traffic-Information. Consequently, the
Unit will temporarily interrupt all other functions, in favour of the in-coming traffic-information. By press-
ing the TA-key again, the Unit will return to the previous function.
PTY (Programme Type)
Press PTY. The programme-type will start flashing on the upper line of the Display. Now use the Forward/
Backward-keys, to change the radio-station. Wait until the information stops flashing, before choos-
ing another radio-station. After having selected the programme-type, the Unit will automatically make
a scrolling. Example: if you choose the NEWS-programmes, the Unit will scroll only the News-pro-
grammes. Amongst the AF, TA and PTY-types, the TA-programmes will have the absolute priority
