8. Maintenance
The maintenance work must be conducted, at the latest, after the maintenance
intervals listed in the tables (see Column "Operational Hours").
When working with materials with strong lint build-up shorter maintenance
intervals may result.
8.1 Cleaning and Inspecting
A clean sewing machine protects against malfunctions!

- Remove sewing dust,

- Clean the oil baffle
(under the machine
head).

The maintenance of the sewing machine may only be
conducted when it is turned off.

- Underside of the needle plate
- Feed dog links
- Area around the hook
- Bobbin case
- Thread trimmer
- Area of the needles
- Remove sewing dust
and cutting residue
