The fault messages show here can be displayed on the multifunction display of a system product (e.g. diamond core drilling machine). Follow
the instructions in the troubleshooting section of the operating instructions for the system product.

Cover the terminals with a non-conductive material (such as electrical tape) to prevent short circuiting.

Dispose of your battery out of the reach of children.

Dispose of the battery at your Hilti Store, or consult your local governmental garbage disposal or public health and safety resources for
disposal instructions.
Most of the materials from which Hilti products are manufactured can be recycled. The materials must be correctly separated before they
can be recycled. In many countries, your old tools, machines or appliances can be returned to Hilti for recycling. Ask Hilti Service or your Hilti
sales representative for further information.

Possible cause
The mains circuit breaker has been tripped.
The waste material container is full.
The motor overheating protection cut-out has
been activated.
The motor is repeatedly switched off by its
thermal cut-out.
The appliance is faulty or is not correctly
plugged in.
No suction hose connected.
Possible cause
Main filter is clogged or too old.
No main filter inserted.
The container level monitoring system has
been triggered.

Action to be taken

Reset the circuit breaker.
▶
Find the reason for the overload current if
the circuit breaker trips again.
▶
Switch the appliance off and empty the
waste material container.
▶
Switch the appliance off and allow it to cool
down for about 5 minutes.
▶
If the motor doesn't start, return the
appliance to Hilti Service.
▶
Clean the air vents carefully using a dry
brush.
▶
Make sure that the supply cord plug is fully
plugged in and check that the appliance
functions correctly.
▶
Connect the suction hose.

Check the fill level in the waste material
container.
▶
Press the
operating button.
▶
Change the filter, if necessary.
▶
Insert a suitable main filter.
▶
Empty the waste material container.
