CLEANING
•
Clean the helmet by wiping with a soft cloth.
•
Clean the cartridge surfaces regularly. Do not use strong cleaning solutions
•
Clean the helmet with neutral soap and lukewarm water
•
Do not use any strong cleaning liquids
•
Do not use any solvents to clean the helmet and the filter
•
Keep the sensors and the solar cells clean with a clean lint-free cloth
•
Exchange the inner and extern lenses if they are damaged (cracked, scratched, soiled or pitted)
•
Clean the filter with a clean lint-free cloth or with a cotton cloth
•
Do not immerse the lenses or the filter in water or any other liquid
•
Do not use cleaning liquids containing abrasive particles, solvents or oils
TROUBLESHOOTING
Common problems and remedies
•
Irregular Darkening or Dimming
Headband has been set unevenly and there is an uneven distance from the eyes to the filter lens
(reset the headband to reduce the difference to the filter)
•
Auto-darkening filter does not darken or flicker
1. Front cover lens is soiled or damaged (change the cover lens)
2. Sensors are soiled (clean the sensors surface)
•
Slow response
Operating temperature is too low
•
Poor vision
1. Front / inside cover lens and / or the filter is soiled (change lens)
2. There is insufficient ambient light
3. Shade number is incorrectly set (reset the shade number)
•
Welding helmet slips
Headband is not properly adjusted (readjust the headband).

Check the machine regularly for signs of damage. If the machine is damaged, please stop using it immediate-
ly and contact your customer service to solve the problem.

Please contact your customer service and prepare following information:

Invoice number and serial number (the latter is to be found on the technical plate on the machine).

If relevant, a picture of the damaged, broken or defective part.

It will be easier for your customer service clerk to determine the source of the problem if you give a

detailed and precise description of the matter. The more detailed your information, the better
customer service will be able to solve your problem rapidly and efficiently!

CAUTION: Never open the machine without the authorization of your customer service. This can lead
to a loss of warranty!

To remove the battery, remove the battery fitting elements. Empty batteries are to be forwarded to an
entity responsible for disposal of this sort of waste.
