Clean the milk container regularly for
hygiene reasons. You can clean the
milk container in the dishwasher. Fol-

13.6 Using the cleaning cart-
ridge and the descaling
cartridge
Your appliance is cleaned and de-
scaled automatically.
Notes
To maintain all appliance functions,

leave the cleaning cartridge and
the descaling cartridge in the ap-
pliance. If you take the cartridges
out without being prompted to do
so, liquid may escape. Remove
any liquid that escapes immedi-
ately. When changing the cart-
ridges, use the relevant service
programme.

Use the service programmes if you
insert or remove a water filter or in
order to clean your appliance thor-
oughly. Your appliance will tell you
when you need to perform a service
programme, e.g. cleaning.
Notes
The display indicates the progress

If your appliance has been locked,

you cannot operate it again until
descaling or cleaning has been
carried out.
