DUST CHUTE
Removing the Guide Plate
1. The Dust Chute (5) can be fitted directly to the
baseplate of the router if using

onto the extended baseplate
(when fitted), for chip extraction
beneath the cut
2. Remove any two of the screws
on the base of the router,
depending on where you want to
locate the dust chute
NOTE: Keep these screws in a
safe place as they will need to
be re-fitted when the dust chute
is not in use
3. Position the dust chute onto the
base, with its slots aligned with
the screw holes. Loosely fit the
through the slots

• Even when not using the template guides, the Guide
Plate (6 or 8) can remain fitted to the router for the
majority of cuts, whether using the router hand-held or
table-mounted
• However, if using cutters with a diameter greater than
50mm (2"), the Guide Plate (6 or 8) will need to be
removed
Maintenance
• Regularly check that the M4 Screws (7) are tightened
firmly
• When not using a guide bush, consider removing the
M4 Screws (7) and Alignment Bush (9) for safe storage
4. Slide the dust chute toward the
cutter to best enclose the cut
zone. Ensure that its positioning
still allows you to achieve your
desired cut. Tighten the screws
5. Attach the 38mm O.D. hose to
the dust chute by screwing it on
anti-clockwise
Extended Baseplate
• When using the extended baseplate:
1. Remove the two Phillips screws and then fit the
extended baseplate to the router
2. Then fit the dust chute via the holes in the baseplate,
using the 1" Phillips Screws (2)

6. Fit the Table Winder Handle (4)
through the hole in the tabletop.
If necessary, extend the hole
using a round file
