End user warranty
End user warranty
The following end user warranty ('warranty') is provided in addition to – and does not affect – your
contractual partner's liability for defective products. The rights resulting from the statutory liability for
defective products can be claimed free of charge and independently of this warranty. They are not restricted
by this warranty.
This warranty only applies to the Geberit AquaClean Cama identified by the Geberit serial number
('product').
The warranty is only granted if the product has been installed in certain countries. A list of these countries
can be found on the last page of the user manual ('list'). The warranty is provided by the Geberit company
responsible for the country in which the product was installed ('Geberit'). The contact information and web
address of Geberit can also be found on the list.
1. Geberit warrants to the end user that the product is free from material defects and manufacturing faults.
The warranty is valid for a period of two years, calculated from the date of purchase of the product,
provided that the end customer completes and sends the warranty form on the Geberit website within 90
days, calculated from the date of purchase ('warranty period').
Warranty scope:
a) During the warranty period, a customer service representative authorised by Geberit shall rectify any
material defects or manufacturing faults free of charge by repairing or replacing the defective parts.
2. The end user shall not be entitled to assert more extensive claims against Geberit on the basis of this
warranty.
3. Claims can only be made under the warranty if:
a) The product was new or as new, unused and undamaged when purchased by the end customer.
b) The product was installed and commissioned by the end customer in compliance with the information
in the user manual.
c) No modifications have been made to the product; in particular, no parts have been removed,
replaced or added.
d) The product defect has not been caused by improper installation or use, nor can it be attributed to
inadequate care or maintenance.
4. To assert rights under this warranty, Geberit must be notified either verbally or in writing via the contact
information provided in the list or on the Geberit website, and proof of purchase showing the product
description and the date of purchase must be furnished. The message must include the following
information as a minimum:
a) Name, address and email address of the customer who purchased the product; company name and
phone number optional
b) Model and serial number of the product
c) Details of the product material defects or manufacturing faults
5. The warranty is exclusively subject to the law of the country in which the product was installed. The
United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. If the
customer is a tradesperson, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place
of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from contractual relationships between the customer and the
provider shall be the registered office of Geberit.
