0° bevel angle
Push the carriage towards the guide fences and lock
the sliding movement with the stopper pin. Lower the
carriage fully and lock it in the lowered position with
the stopper pin. Rotate the knob counterclockwise,
and then turn the 0° adjusting bolt through two or three
revolutions counterclockwise to tilt the circular saw
blade to the right.

Carefully square the side of the circular saw blade with
the top surface of the turn base using the triangular
rule, try-square, etc. by turning the 0° adjusting bolt
clockwise. Then tighten the knob firmly to secure the 0°
angle you have set.

Check if the side of the circular saw blade squares with
the turn base surface once again. Loosen the screw on
the pointer. Align the pointer with 0° position in the bevel
angle scale and then tighten the screw.
45° bevel angle
NOTICE:
Before adjusting the 45° bevel angle,
finish 0° bevel angle adjustment.
Loosen the knob and fully tilt the carriage to the side
that you want to check. Check if the pointer indicates
the 45° position in the bevel angle scale.

If the pointer does not indicate the 45° position, align it
with the 45° position by turning the adjusting bolt in the
bevel angle scale on the opposite side of the base.

Adjusting the sub fences
Adjust the sub fences on the sub bases if they are not
aligned with guide fences.

Loosen the bolts securing the sub fences using
the hex wrench.
2.
Place a straight rigid bar, such as a square steel
member, flat against the guide fences.
3.
While the bar is flat against the guide fences,
place the sub fences so that the face of the sub fence
becomes flat against the bar. After that, tighten the
bolts.

Cleaning lamp lens
CAUTION:
Always remove the circular saw
blade before cleaning the lamp lens.
NOTICE:
Do not remove the screw which
secures the lens. If the lens does not come out,
loosen the screw further.
NOTICE:
Use a dry cloth to wipe the dirt off the
lens of the lamp. Be careful not to scratch the lens
of lamp, or it may lower the illumination.
NOTICE:
Do not use solvents or any petro-
leum-based cleaners on the lens.
The LED light becomes hard to see as the lens for the
light gets dirty. Clean the lens at regular intervals.
Remove the battery cartridge. Loosen the screw and
pull out the lens. Clean the lens gently with a damp soft
cloth.

After use
After use, wipe off chips and dust adhering to the tool
with a cloth or the like. Keep the blade guard clean
according to the directions in the previously covered
section titled "Blade guard". Lubricate the sliding por-
tions with machine oil to prevent rust.
