4 The first steps
4.1 Powering on the device

4.2.1 Quick test
The self-test determines if there are any leaks in the BRAND PLT unit. Two different tests are available.
The Quick Test lasts only about 2 minutes and should be performed on a daily basis. The Full Test

Plug the power supply
into the socket on the
back of the device, with-
out pressing any button
on the device.
When the power supply
is connected, the display
shows the software ver-
sion number, the date of
creation and the BRAND
logo.
After 3 s, the display
jumps to the 'Language'
display during the first
start-up.
Select the language by
turning the selection
button.
