OPERATION

Installing and Removing the Battery Pack
(Fig. G)
nOTE: The DCE700 uses the DCB609G battery pack only. For
best results, make sure your battery pack is fully charged.

Unlock battery door
toward the rear of the tool and open as shown in Figure G.
To install the battery pack
battery pack with the rails inside the tool and slide it in

until the battery pack is firmly seated. Ensure that it does
not disengage.
Close the battery door

To remove the battery pack from the tool, unlatch and open
the battery door. Then press the battery release button
and firmly pull the battery pack out of the tool. Insert it into
the charger as described in Charging a Battery.
