4. Connect to an LPR Database.
NOTE: For most systems, the default local database information that is automatically populated
is used.
5. To automatically connect to the LPR database the next time CarDetector Mobile is started, select the
Automatically connect check box.
6. Select Connect.
7. Confirm the accuracy of the current GPS location that is reported by the system.

If they do not match, select Incorrect and contact support.
●
If correct, select Correct.

Using the Proxy User Mode
Proxy user mode is used for automated operation without user credentials and with a proxy system
connection file from Vigilant Vehicle Manager. This mode is for use in "headless" systems without a human
operator and prevents the need to create an additional user account in Vigilant Vehicle Manager.
Proxy user mode has the following features:

Disables the CarDetector Mobile interface.
●
Has limited functionality and can only upload detections.
