2.2.2
Using the Standard User Mode
Standard user mode is for regular user operation with Vigilant Vehicle Manager user credentials and a
connection file from Vigilant Vehicle Manager.
Procedure:
1. Select Standard user in the Login method drop-down list.
2. To select a connection file, select Browse.
3. Enter the Vigilant Vehicle Manager <username> and <password> for the system user.
4. To automatically log in the next time CarDetector Mobile is started, select the Remember password
& Auto login check box.
5. Select Login.
6. To select the Turbo device to be used for receiving hits from Vigilant Vehicle Manager, choose from
the Select device drop-down list and tap Select.
7. Connect to an LPR Database.
NOTE: For most systems, the default local database information that is automatically populated
is used.
8. To automatically connect to the LPR database the next time CarDetector Mobile is started, select the
Automatically connect check box.
9. Select Connect.
