moving seat or in a vehicle door.
• Before each use make sure that the automatic three-point vehicle belt is correctly adjusted
and fits tightly to the child's body. Never twist the belt!
• Any straps holding the child safety seat to the vehicle should be tight, any straps restraining
the child should be adjusted to the child's body, and the straps should not be twisted and
any support-leg should be incontact with the vehicle floor.
• After your chid is placed in this child safety seat, the safety belt must used correctly, and
it shall be recommended that any straps holding the restraint to the vehicle should ensure
that any lap strap is worn low down, so that the pelvis is firmly engaged tight, that any
support leg should be in contact with the vehicle floor.
• The Enhanced Child Restraint System cover should not be replaced with any other than the
one recommended by the manufacturer, because the cover constitutes an integral part of
the restraint performance.
• Never leave the child in the child safety seat unattended.
• Any luggage or other objects liable to cause injuries in the event of a collision shall be
properly secured.
• The child safety seat cover must only be replaced with one recommended by the
manufacturer. The textile cover is an essential part of the product.
• The child safety seat should be replaced if it has been subjected to heavy loads in the event
of an accident or if it has been dropped.
• The child safety seat is only intended to be used in the car.
• Do not make any alterations or additions to the child safety seat without approval from the
type approval authority. Failure to do so may result in serious safety issues.
• DO NOT use the child safety seat if the surfaces are too hot from sunlight.
• Always secure child in child safety seat, even on short trips, as this is when most accidents
occur. DO NOT leave the child safety seat, or other items unbelted or unsecured in your
vehicle. Remove the child safety seat from the car if not regular used and store in a dry, sun
protected surrounding.
• It's recommended not to use a second-hand child safety seat whose history is not known. It
may have invisible structural damage or defects due to incorrect usage/ storage.
• When the child safety seat is not provided with a textile cover, it shall be recommended that
the chair should be kept away from sunlight, otherwise it may be too hot for the child's skin.
• The Enhanced Child Restraint System shall not be used without the cover.
• Because of potential medical issues inherent to low birth weight and premature infants,
always have a trained professional doctor or hospital to assess the suitability of the ECRS
prior to leaving the hospital or using the ECRS.
• DO NOT use forward facing before the child' s age exceeds 15 months (refer to instruction).
ROTATING THE CHILD SAFETY SEAT
WARNING
• When the seat is rotated to 90 degrees, the user can place the child in this position,
but he/she cannot use this angle during driving.
TIP
• The support leg must be open before rotation. When the support leg is folded under
the base, it cannot rotate.
1 Pull the support leg (20) away from the base bottom of the child safety seat until you hear
a clicking sound, and the support leg (20) is fully extended.
2 Pull the 360° rotation adjuster (11) out with your thumb. Rotate the seat shell 90° towards
the vehicle door at the same time. Now you can put your child in or take him/her out easily.
3 Rotate the seat shell 90° so it is facing either forwards or backwards, depending on the
height of your child, until it engages with a clicking sound.
