CHILD SAFETY SEAT LOCATION WITHIN THE VEHICLE

WARNING
• Not to use rearward facing ECRS in seating positions where there is an active frontal airbag
installed. (ECRS= Enhanced Child Restraint System)
• IMPORTANT - DO NOT use forward facing before the child' s age exceeds 15 months (refer
to instruction).
• Facing backwards (against the direction of travel) 40-105cm: Do not use on passenger
seats with an active front airbag!
• Facing forwards (in the direction of travel) 76-150cm: If there is a passenger airbag:
Slide the passenger seat well backwards and follow any relevant (Observe the applicable
regulations in force in your country) directions in your vehicle's handbook and ensure that
the airbag is deactivated.
• Observe the instructions for using Enhanced Child Restraint Systems (ECRS) in the vehicle
handbook. During use, be sure to observe any restrictions relating to airbags.
• Refer to the vehicle handbook for information about vehicle seats which are certified for the
use of children's restraining systems according to ECE R16.
• DO NOT use forward facing before the child' s age exceeds 15 months (refer to instruction).
C006 i-Size usage options:
C006 Child safety seat
You can use your child safety seat as follows:
Facing forwards (in the direction of travel)
Facing backwards (against the direction of travel)
With 2-point safety belt
With 3-point safety belt
On seats featuring: ISOFIX fastenings
When using as i-Size (40-105cm). This ECRS is suitable for vehicles equipped with the ECE R14
requirements and only after installing ISOFIX.
When using as i-Size (76-105cm). This ECRS is suitable for vehicles equipped with the ECE R14
requirements and only after installing ISOFIX.
When using as i-Size booster seat (100-150cm):
This ECRS is suitable for seat belt models equipped with the 3-point seat belts that has passed
the ECE R16 requirement and is not suitable for models only equipped with 2-point seat belts.
Observe the applicable regulations in force in your country.
WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• To guarantee the optimal safety of your child, read this user manual carefully and follow it.
• The vehicle belt buckle must never cross the belt guide of the seat. If the belt whip is too
long, the child seat is not suitable for use in this position in the vehicle. In case of doubt,
contact the child restraint manufacturer.
• The child safety seat must always be secured correctly with the vehicle belt in the vehicle
even when not in use.
• Rigid objects and plastic parts of the child safety seat should be arranged and mounted in
such a way that they are not likely to become trapped during daily use of the vehicle by a
