ESD can destroy electronical components.
Ground yourself to prevent static charge when installing the internal components. Use a grounding wrist
strap and place all electronic components in any static-shielded devices.

Sudden surge of power could ruin sensitive components.
Disconnect the power cable from the gateway before any installation. Make sure both the gateway and the
external devices are turned off and the gateway is properly grounded.
Make sure the voltage of the power source is correct before connecting the equipment to the power outlet.

Liquids may damage electronical components.
Turn off the supply voltage before cleaning. Clean the gateway using a cloth only, do not spray any liquid
cleaner directly onto the screen.

High or low temperatures may damage the equipment.
Do not leave the equipment in an uncontrolled environment with storage temperature <-45℃ or >85℃.

Integrated circuits on computer boards are sensitive to static electricity.
Avoid opening the back cover of the gateway. If the cover has to be opened for maintenance, it has to be by
a trained technician who must observe the following precautions:
Before handling a board or integrated circuit, touch an unpainted portion of the gateway chassis for a few
seconds. This will help to discharge any static electricity on your body.
When handling boards and components, wear a grounding wrist strap.
