Optical signal
After the start of the washing programme, an
optical signal shows on the floor below the
appliance door.
The red light is on.
The red light flashes.
The green light is on.

Indication of the start of a washing programme. The red light stays on during
the washing programme.
Indication of a malfunction.
Indication of the end of a washing programme.

If the appliance is installed higher with a flush
kitchen furniture door, the optical signal will
not be visible.

Comes on when it is necessary to fill the rinse aid
dispenser. Refer to 'Use of rinse aid'.
Comes on when it is necessary to fill the salt con-
tainer. Refer to 'Use of dishwasher salt'.
After you fill the container, the salt indicator light
can continue to stay on for some hours. This does
not have an unwanted effect on the operation of
the appliance.
