the mouth
touches the workpiece.
The fastener leaves the device.
As long as you keep the trigger
pressed, then, every time the mouth
touches the workpiece, then a fastener
will leave the device.
Alternatively you can also keep the
11
mouth
of the device pressed continu-
ously onto the workpiece.
Every time you press the trigger
fastener leaves the device.
In all cases you should endeavour to work
with the lowest level of air pressure. This
brings you three significant advantages:
1) You save energy,
2) You reduce the noise level,
3) You reduce the wear on the fastening
device.
Avoid triggering the fastening device when
the magazine is empty. If the fastening
device is defective or is not working
properly, disconnect it immediately from
the compressed air and hand it over to
an expert for inspection. During long
work breaks or when work has finished,
disconnect the device from the compressed
air system and ideally empty the magazine.
Protect the compressed air connections of
the fastening device and the hose lines
against contamination. Penetration of
coarse dust, chips, sand, etc. leads to leaks
and damage to the fastening device and
couplings.
NOTE: It is also possible to carry out
fine-tuning using the knurled screw
Rotate the knurled screw
make the fastener go deeper into the
workpiece.
Rotate the knurled screw
the fastener go less deep into the
workpiece.
