INSTALLATION
1. Remove the front panel. Pull out from the bottom
to release it from the tabs and then lift up.
2. Remove the shipping screw from the vent door.
3. Rotate the vent control lever to either open or
close the vent door. When the vent control lever
is set to "close", only the air inside the room is
circulated. When the vent control lever is set to
"open", outdoor air will be drawn into the room.
This can reduce heating or cooling efficiency.
4. Lift the appliance and slide it into the wall sleeve
until it is set firmly against the front wall of the
sleeve and secure with four screws through the
flange holes.
5. Reinstall the front panel. Place the tabs over the
top rail and push inward at the bottom until the
panel snaps into place.
POWER CORD
The power supply cord contains a current device
that senses damage to the power cord.
Testing the power cord
1. Plug in the appliance.
2. The power supply cored will have TWO buttons
on the plug head. Press the TEST button, you will
notice a click as the RESET button pops out.
3. Press the RESET button again, you will notice a
click as the button engages.
4. The power supply cord is now supplying
electricity to the unit. On some units this is also
indicated by light on the plug head.
Notes:
• Always ensure the RESET button is pushed in for
correct operation.
• If the power cord fails to reset when either the
TEST button is pushed or if it cannot be reset, it
must be replaced.
• If the power cord is damaged, it cannot be
repaired. It MUST be replaced.
