7.4 Place the drum in the locked position (by ratchet hook).

7.6 Hold the hex wrench firm and fasten the nut (7.1).
7.7 Make sure that the reel works correctly by checking that the hose has entirely come out,
eventually adjust the spring pre-loading.
7.8 Stop and lock the drum when the hose is completely in, in order to avoid to lose the spring
pre-loading.
7.9 Install the hose reel in the desired position.
7.10 Insert the hose-end between the guide rollers and place the hose rubber stop at the
desired distance from the end of the hose.
IMPORTANT! Any installation operation shall be carried out by a suitably
trained staff, following carefully the information given in this manual.
Check the packaging at the reception of the goods and store only at a dry place. Verify that
the device has not been damaged during transport or storage operations. Make sure you
receive all the components. Ask the manufacturer for any possible missing component.
The hose reel has to be wall mounted at a minimum height of the floor of 2.50 m in
order to prevent accidents during work operations.
In particular cases it is possible to mount it on the floor or on other machines as accessory,
only if complete with a fixed support if in a protected position.
Mount the hose reel already complete with hose on stiff and consistent walls, using dowels
of 8 mm diameter. Connect the hose reel to the line with the flexible hose. Put an air valve on
the feed line of the hose reel for ease of maintenance.The air valve can be used as a safety
valve in the event of an accident.
WARNING! The manufacturer declines any responsibility for injuries to people or da-
mages to things caused by a wrong assembly of the hose reel.
7.5 Insert the hex wrench into the axle after the side bodies have
been attached. Pre-load the spring turning anti-clockwise the
wrench (see technical manual).

Always connect the hose reel to the line by the couplers
and the flexible hose (A) suitable for this use, above all
in case of high pressure and temperature.
To avoid consequent loss of fluid tighten the fittings
using appropriate keys, keep back the swivel joints (B)
to avoid damaging them.
According to the rules, put a ball-tap on the feeding line of
the hose reels in order to make the maintenance operations
easier. The said ball-tap can be used as a safety valve for
dangerous situations.
