The Cutting Aid for Mitre Cuts (Art.: 88 06 70, Optional)
Attention: If it is not possible to
clamp the work piece securely in an
appropriate support, then use the
cutting aid.
Attention: Never reach in the cutting
area while working.
Attention: Always make sure that
when sawing, the saw blade is in the
hollow (g) of the cutting aid (a).
 Open the lock (b) of the support
arm (c).
 Set the support arm (c) to the
desired angle.
 Close the lock (b) of the support
arm (c).
 Fold out the auxiliary support (d).
Notice: Depending on the length of the work piece, the auxiliary support can
be extended by pulling it out.
 Insert and align the work piece in the cutting aid (a).
 Stick the clamp (e) in the fixing holes (f) of the support arm (c).
 Align the clamp (e) on the work piece and tighten to ensure that the work
piece will not slip.
 Set the device on the guide rail (h) and cut the work piece.
 Loosen the clamp (e) and remove the work piece from the cutting aid (a).
Cleaning and Maintenance
Disconnect from mains power before carrying out any maintenance work on
the plunge saw!
All maintenance and repair work involving opening the motor casing must be
carried out by an authorized service centre.
Always keep the plunge saw clean. Clean the plunge saw after every use with
a dry cloth or compressed air. Do not use any aggressive chemicals for
cleaning.
 To reduce the risk of injury, always disconnect the main power plug before
cleaning the device.
