General Information
This fitted tool is susceptible to breakage and therefore must
be handled very carefully. Using damaged fitted tools or fitted
tools that are incorrectly clamped in place or fitted is danger-
ous and can result in serious injury.
Handling and Storage
Fitted tools must be handled and transported with care. Fitted
tools must be stored to prevent exposure to mechanical dam-
ages and damaging environmental factors. To prevent dam-
age, remove the fitted tool before you transport the power tool.
Selection as well as safe and proper Use
Observe the data on the label or the fitted tool as well as
restrictions on use, safety instructions or other notes. Comply
with the labelled direction of rotation of the fitted tool. If you are
unsure which fitted tool to use, consult the manufacturer or a
qualified professional. Observe the speed of the fitted tool and
the power tool.
Before Use
Fitted tools must undergo a visual check before each start-up.
Do not use fitted tools that are damaged. Secure the work
piece you intend to work on.
Inserting/Changing
Clamp the fitted tools in place as indicated by the notes for the
fitted tool as well as by the manufacturer of the power tool.
Only qualified persons may clamp the fitted tools in place.
Each time after clamping the tools in place, perform a test run
for an appropriate period of time. The maximum working speed
for the fitted tool indicated must not be exceeded in the pro-
cess.
Always clamp the fitted tools so that no lateral or vertical run-out
occurs.
