3. OPERATION
First use
Before using the kettle for the first time, clean it inside. To do so, follow the steps below:
1. Fill the kettle halfway with water. Do not add any other products.
2. Next, start the kettle by pressing the Temperature settings icon up to 100 °C and then
press the Power icon. The indicator light will light up indicating that the water is heating
up.
3. After boiling the water, the appliance will switch off automatically.
4. Lift the kettle carefully and empty the water into a sink. Avoid splashing water, as it is hot
and could burn you.
5. The kettle is now ready for use.
Using the appliance. Fig. 3
1. Place the base on a flat surface.
2. Fill the kettle with water (do not add any other product).
Note: do not fill above the MAX level. Please consider the water level indicator.
3. Refit the cover.
Note: please, place the cover with the 3 holes on the opposite side to the pouring spout, near
the handle, to prevent water from spilling out of the holes when pouring water into the cup.
4. Place the kettle on the base.
5. Only connect the appliance to a properly installed 230 V~ 50 Hz safety socket.
Note: check if the voltage you are going to use is the same as that of the kettle. Details can be
found on the label on the base.
6. Select the temperature with the icon to select a temperature between 40-50-60-60-70-
80-90-90-100 ºC and press the Power icon to start the kettle. The indicator light will light
up indicating that the water is heating up.
7. After boiling the water, the appliance will switch off automatically.

Note: be careful, you could get burned. Do not open the lid when pouring.
Note: never touch or hold the appliance by anything other than the handle when it has been
boiling water.
If no operation is performed for 3 minutes, a beep will sound, and the kettle will automatically
enter standby mode. The Power icon light will become dimmer. When the kettle is in standby
mode, press the Power icon to return the kettle to its normal state. Press this icon again to
start boiling water. If you have not selected any temperature, the kettle will operate at the
temperature selected the last time you used it. When the water is boiling, three beeps will
sound. After 30 seconds, the temperature indicator light will switch off.
Temperature setting (ºF/ºC)
Press and hold the Temperature settings icon for 3 seconds to change from °F to °C (or vice
versa).
Keep warm function
If you press the Keep warm icon, a beep will sound, and the corresponding indicator light
will light up. Then, select the desired temperature and the function will start automatically
(it will remain active for two hours). When the water temperature is 5
temperature, the kettle will start. This process shall be repeated during the two hours that
this function is active.
- Temperature display: it shows the water temperature and the selected temperature.
Keep warm function indicator light: it will switch on when the function is activated.

When the Keep warm function is activated and the water is already at the desired
temperature, the Memory function will be activated. While the Keep warm function is
activated, you can remove the kettle from the base up to ten times, if you remove it more than
10 times, the function will be deactivated.
When you place it back on the base, the Keep warm function will remain active and, thanks
to the Memory function, all selected settings will be retained. If the water temperature has
dropped by 8 ºC or more by the time it is removed from the base, the Keep warm function will
be deactivated.
Indicator light
The indicator light will change colour depending on the water temperature according to the
following colour structure:
- If it is below 40 ºC , it shall be bluish white.
If it is between 40 ºC and 49 ºC , it shall be green.

- If it is between 50 ºC and 59 ºC , it shall be light blue.
- If it is between 60 ºC and 69 ºC , it shall be deep blue in colour.
