Program Pause Facility
While firing press and hold down the
II (pause) function. The controller will sound a short beep and the executing program
will pause indefinitely at the current kiln temperature. The pause indicator (II) will
light. To release the pause, repeat the above action.
While paused, the kiln temperature display will alternate periodically
PAUSED
with a scrolling PAUSED display and a beep will be sounded.
Warning – Program Pause
The program pause facility should be used with care. Program execution is sus-
pended, and the kiln will be held at its current temperature. If left too long at high
temperatures kiln damage could result. Pause will automatically release after a
preset 2-hour time period.
13. USB Data logger module for ST 630
General Description
This module enables a USB FLASH memory drive to be connected to the control-
ler. Its main function is to write time-stamped data files to the memory drive for data
logging. It can also read configuration and/or user-program data files into the con-
troller.
USB Flash Drive Specification
USB 1.1 or 2.0 drives are suitable for data logging. Type 3.0 drives do not work.
The drives must be formatted as FAT32 or FAT16 (NTFS and exFAT format does
not work). The data logger module has been tested with common USB drives of
8, 16 and 32 GB. A lit LED next to the USB port on the controller confirms connec-
tion to a compatible USB stick.
