To do a check of the ignition key
1. Make sure that the engine starts and that the blade
starts to rotate when you turn the ignition key to
"START".
2. Make sure that the engine stops immediately when
you turn the ignition key to "OFF".
To remove the cutting blade
1. Turn the ignition key to "RUN".
2. Push the cutting depth switch to lift the product to its
full height.
3. Turn the ignition key to "OFF".

4. Turn the 2 locking knobs counterclockwise and
remove the blade block guard.
5. Push down on the kerf guide to release the skid
plate.
6. Put the supplied blade wrench on the blade shaft
bolt in the blade block.
7. Use the blade wrench to turn the blade shaft
counterclockwise while you push the locking pin. The
locking pin will drop down and lock the blade shaft.
8. Use the blade wrench to turn the blade shaft bolt
counterclockwise.
