Checking for tight fit
1. Seal the mask connector and breathe in until a negative pressure is
generated.
2. Hold your breath for a moment. The negative pressure should be
maintained. If not, retighten the harness.
3. Repeat the leak test twice.
WARNING
► The full face mask must only be used if perfectly tight; otherwise there is a
danger of poisoning!

During use
4.5.1
Low temperatures
Protect the inside of the visor against fogging with "klar-pilot" anti-fog agent.
4.5.2
High temperatures
WARNING
Risk of poisoning!
Any signs of damage, e.g. bubbles in the visor, pose a risk of poisoning.
► Leave the danger zone immediately.
4.5.3
Chemicals
Some substances can be absorbed by the material of the mask body or may
even diffuse through it. Further information can be obtained from Dräger.

After use
1. Disconnect the respiratory filter or connecting hose from the powered air
purifying respirator or airline equipment.
2. Remove the full face mask:
Insert your index fingers underneath the flaps of the neck straps and push
the adjusting clamps forward with your thumbs to loosen the head harness
(see fold-out page, Figure F). Pull the full face mask away from your face
and over your head.

3. Dispose of the respiratory filter in accordance with the local waste disposal
regulations.
CAUTION
► Do not grab the full face mask by the connector and pull it off your face as
this can damage the mask.

Transport
Transport the full face mask in a carrying box or mask bag.

Storage
Dräger X-plore 6000
● Loosen the harness as far as possible.
● Wipe the visor with an antistatic cloth.
● Make sure that the full face mask is dry.
● Pack the full face mask in its bag or carrying box.
● Store the full face mask in a dry, dust-free place where it cannot become
deformed.
● Protect from direct sunlight and thermal radiation.
● Storage temperature: -15 °C to +25 °C.
● Observe ISO 2230 and national regulations concerning the storage,
maintenance and cleaning of rubber products.
Dräger rubber products are treated with an agent to protect against premature
ageing which in some cases is visible as a grey-white coating. This coating can
be washed off with a brush and soapy water.

Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
