Limitations on use
WARNING
Beards and sideburns in the sealing area of the full face mask will cause
leakages. Therefore, the full face mask should not be used by anyone with
facial hair of this sort. Earpieces in the sealing area also cause leakages.
► Use special mask spectacles.

The full face masks comply with the U.S. NIOSH regulations.
The full face masks may only be used with approved powered air-purifying
respirators, normal-pressure airline equipment or respiratory filters with round-
thread connectors according to EN 148-1 (RA).
The full face masks are tested in accordance with 2014/34/EU for use in
hazardous areas and can be used in the following zones:
