FITTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR R&G TAIL-TIDY (LICENCE PLATE HOLDER)
KAWASAKI VERSYS 650 '06 (part code LP0039BK)
Please read all instructions before commencing fitting

NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO GLUE THE LIGHT SHROUD TO THE LED LICENCE PLATE LIGHT BEFORE
FITTING USING SUPER GLUE.

Remove seat.

Remove rear seat cowling plastics two per side and one central (rear light cover) and rear grab rails.

Unplug wiring to No plate light and indicators.

Undo OEM licence plate holder (4 bolts ,2 from underneath 2 from side).

Remove OEM licence plate holder.

If not already fitted, fit new No plate light to new tail-tidy(larger bracket)

Remove OEM indicators from OEM licence plate holder(note colour coding to side)and fit to new tail-
tidy(smaller bracket), assembles as original.

Assemble new tail-tidy using button head screws and nuts from kit do not tighten fully.

Feed new light and indicator wires through hole in smaller bracket.

Offer up to bike and using original bolts and two new nuts from kit fit to bike ,position as required and
tighten all nuts and bolts.

Connect indicator plugs as original (routing will vary to allow plugs to reach) , we suggest cutting wiring
plug from OEM licence plate holder and using connectors supplied in kit connect new light wires(red-red and
black-black & yellow).

Assemble all rear cowling plastics ,grab rails and seat as original.

Fit No plate.

IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT FAR DOWN ON
THE LICENCE PLATE HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THE LICENCE PLATE
HITTING THE BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE
ROAD. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS POSSIBILITY AND TAKE
AVOIDING ACTION. FAILURE TO CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.

CHECK ALL LIGHTING OPERATIONS BEFORE USE.
Due to the risk of cross-threading, overtightening etc. we always recommend that our kits be fitted by one of our
official dealers or at least a qualified mechanic
