and
transmission fluid

CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ Be sure to stop the engine and remove
the key before changing or checking the
oil.
¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ ¡ Allow transmission case to cool down
sufficiently; oil can be hot and may
cause burns.
Draw out the dipstick, wipe it clean, replace it, and
draw it out again. Check to see that the fluid level is on
the upper notch.
If low, replenish through the fluid port.
Use UDT or SUPER UDT hydrostatic transmission
fluid or its equivalent. Capacity : 6.0 L
(1) Transmission fluid port
(2) Dipstick
EVERY 50 HOURS
{ Checking safety devices
Check the following tests for safety devices. If the
machine does not pass one of the following tests, do
not operate the machine. Contact your local KUBOTA
Dealer.
v PTO Safety Control 1
1) Remove the pin of the wire in outside.
(1) Pin
2) Run the engine at half throttle.
3) Engage the PTO lever.
4) Lift the grass container.
5) Engine should be shut off.
6) After the test, disengage the PTO lever, run the
engine, and lower the grass container. Attach the
wire in outside to the joint of lift arm.
(2) Wire.
v PTO Safety Control 2
1) Run the engine at half throttle.
2) Lower the grass container.
3) Engage the PTO lever.
4) Lift the grass container.
5) PTO lever automatically disengage.
Replenishment
(A) "UPPER LEVEL"
(B) "LOWER LEVEL"
