EMPTYING THE GRASS CATHER

CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
¡ Raise and dump collected leaves or
grass clippings ONLY while sitting on
the Operator's Seat.
¡ Empty the container ONLY from a firm
and level surface, with the mower
stopped, and the machine stationary.
Dumping the container on soft or
uneven
ground,
machine to tip over, causing serious
injury
and
damage.
¡ Make sure the dumping area is clear of
all
bystanders
emptying grass clippings or leaves from
the container.
¡ With the grass container raised, do not
run the machine too fast nor make a
sharp turn.
¡ Attach the standard front weights when
collecting grass. Otherwise the machine
will be difficult in maneuvering. Also
increase the front weight depending on
a work situation.
To empty the grass container:
1. Turn the PTO lever to the "OFF" position.
2. Move the grass container control lever to the (A)
to lift the container.
3. Stop the container at a height that you like to
empty.
4. Move the control lever to the (C) to tilt and empty
the container.
NOTE:
¡ Tilt the container when the edge of the top cover is
above the upper pipe.

5. With grass discharged, move the control lever to
the (D) to shut the back cover completely. Now
move the control lever to the (B) to lower the
container.
IMPORTANT:
¡ Before lowering the grass container, make sure
the back cover is shut completely. Otherwise the
container itself or other parts may get damaged.
