3. Middle Operating Position: Turn the two handle adjustment knobs to the unlock position.
Gently pivot the handle downward to the middle operating position. Turn the two handle-
adjustment knobs back to the locked position and make sure that the lock pin has engaged
in the middle operating position. Open the two handle-locking clamps and fully extend the
side rails. Securely close the two handle-locking clamps.
4. Lower Operating Position: Turn the two handle-adjustment knobs to the unlock position.
Gently pivot the handle downward to the lower operating position. Turn the two handle-
adjustment knobs back to the locked position and make sure that the lock pin has engaged
in the lower operating position. Open the two handle-locking clamps and fully extend the
side rails. Securely close the two handle-locking clamps.
NOTE: The motor cannot be started unless:
a) The side rails are fully extended.
b) Both handle-locking clamps are securely closed.
c) The handle is locked into one of the three operating positions.
Attach/Remove the Grass Bag

1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Adjust the handle to the locked storage
position.
3. Lift the rear-discharge door.
4. Hook the grass bag assembly on the pivot
rod (Fig. 9). Release the discharge door so
that it rests on the grass bag.
5. To remove the grass bag, lift the rear-discharge door on the mower. Lift the grass bag up,
off of the pivot rod.
6. Release the discharge door.
