2.5 Operating Exclusions
2.5.1 seripettor®
Never use seripettor® for:
•
Liquids attacking FEP, PP, PE or EPDM
•
Liquids that tend to polymerize spontaneously (e.g., adhesives and their components)
•
Non-polar solvents such as hydrocarbons and halogen hydrocarbons
•
Concentrated or oxidizing acids
•
Explosive liquids
•
Carbon disulfide
2.5.2 seripettor® pro
Never use seripettor® pro for:
•
Liquids attacking PP, PE, Al
•
Liquids attacking borosilicate glass (e.g., hydrofluoric acid)
•
Liquids which are decomposed catalytically by platinum-iridium (e.g., H
•
Liquids that tend to polymerize spontaneously (e.g., adhesives and their components)
•
Non-polar solvents such as hydrocarbons and halogen hydrocarbons
•
Concentrated or oxidizing acids (except for HCl)
•
Explosive liquids
•
Carbon disulfide
•
Suspensions (e.g., activated carbon solutions) because solid particles may clog or damage the in-
strument
* Dissolved sodium azide permitted up to a concentration of max. 0.1%.
2.6 Storage Conditions
Store the unit and accessories in a cool and dry place in cleaned condition only.
Storage temperature from −20 to 50°C (−4 to 122°F).

2.7.1 seripettor® application range
Aqueous solutions
Biological buffer solutions and detergents, anti-foaming agents, culture media, vitamin solutions, etc.
as well as hydrogen peroxide can be dispensed in everyday routines.
Agar culture media can be dispensed up to max. 60 °C.
