b) Les modèles à cinq vitesses d'entraînement sont
dotés de quatre vitesses de marche avant et une
vitesse de marche arrière.
3. Faire tourner l'engagement de l'entraînement au
moyen de la poignée de droite.
4. Appuyer sur l'engagement de l'entraînement sur la
poignée pour engager les roues d'entraînement. Le
produit se déplace vers l'avant ou arrière en fonction
de l'emplacement du levier de commande de vitesse
d'entraînement.
Arrêt de la machine
Remarque : Pour couper le moteur en cas d'urgence,
tirer l'interrupteur ON/OFF (marche/arrêt).
1. Relâcher l'engagement de l'entraînement pour
arrêter les roues d'entraînement.

2. Relâcher l'engagement de la tarière pour
désengager la tarière et arrêter de projeter la neige.
3. Placer le commutateur de carburant à la position
OFF (arrêt).
4. Tirer l'interrupteur ON/OFF (marche/arrêt).
Pour obtenir un bon résultat
•
Toujours faire tourner le moteur à plein gaz ou
presque à plein régime.
•
Toujours adapter la vitesse du produit aux
circonstances relatives à la neige et adapter la
vitesse au moyen du levier de commande de vitesse
d'entraînement. Assurez-vous que le produit projette
la neige de façon uniforme.
•
Il est plus facile et plus efficace d'éliminer la neige
immédiatement après la chute.
•
Toujours projeter la neige dans la direction du vent
autant que possible.

left and the right handles (A).

To fill the engine with oil
CAUTION: Do not rotate the dipstick when
you check the oil. Do not fill above the mark.
1. Remove the oil cap and clean the dipstick.
2. Add oil to the top mark on the dipstick. Use the
dipstick to examine the oil level at regular intervals.
3. Put the oil cap back.

3. Attach the cables (D) to the cable screw bolts (B).
4. Connect and lock the left and the right cable thread
insert (D) and the cable screw bolt (B) until the top of
the brass lock nut (C) is aligned with the mark on the
threads (E).
5. Lock the cable with the brass lock nut (C).

Operation
To fill fuel
If available, use low-emission/alkylate gasoline. If low-
emission/alkylate gasoline is not available, use good
quality unleaded gasoline or leaded gasoline. Use
gasoline with an octane number of 90 RON out of North
America (87 AKI in North America) or higher, and with a
maximum of 10% ethanol (E10).
CAUTION: Do not use gasoline with an
octane number less than 90 RON out of
North America (87 AKI in North America).
This can cause damage to the product.
1. Open the fuel tank cap slowly to release the
pressure.
2. Fill slowly with a fuel can. If you spill fuel, remove it
with a cloth and let remaining fuel dry off.
3. Clean the area around the fuel tank cap.
4. Tighten the fuel tank cap fully. If the fuel tank cap is
not tightened, there is a risk of fire.
5. Move the product a minimum of 3 m (10 ft) from the
position where you filled the tank, before a start.
To adjust the chute deflector
The direction in which snow is to be thrown is controlled
by the chute rotator control which is installed on the left
side handle.
1. Rotate the chute rotator control to set the rotating
direction of throwing snow.
2. Rotate the chute rotator control clockwise to throw
snow rightwards.
