Select alarm tone/ melody
You can select the alarm tone/ melody
with the tone selection buttons. You
can choose from 10 different types of
tone sequences.
Snooze Alarm
Press the Light/Snooze button to sus-
pend an alarm which is in progress.
The alarm is triggered again after
about 5 minutes.
Telephone ring signalling
The »time flash« can show telephone
rings by flash, blinking and tone sig-
nals.
There are two connection possibili-
ties to pick up the telephone ring:
1. You can pick up the telephone ring
signal by using a telephone cable
(optionally available). This way you
connect a special N-coded tele-
phone cable with the Telephone
socket.
2. You can pick up the ring signal from
the sound outlet of the telephone
by using an external microphone
(optionally available) which is fixed
with a self-adhesive pad to the
sound outlet.
The microphone cable is connect-
ed to the "MIC IN" connection
socket at the backside of the
»time flash«.

Note:
The ringing signal of the telephone
is set factory-wise and cannot be
changed with the tone selection but-
tons.
Setting the sensitivity
Set the ringer of your telephone to its
maximum volume. Set the sensitivity
of the »time flash« to its lowest level
(turn to the anticlockwise stop).
Activate the telephone ringer and
gradually increase the sensitivity of
the »time flash« (by turning the dial
clockwise) until the »time flash« re-
acts to the telephone ringing.
Please note: It is possible that the
telephone signal may be triggered
once if you replace the telephone
handset with too much force.
Switching on the clock face illumin-
ation
Press the Light/Snooze button to
switch on the clock face illumination
for about 6 seconds.
