Only touch test leads and test probes at handles
provided.
The required test voltage, approx 4.5 V, is supplied
by the instrument batteries. Testing is possible wit-
hin the range of 0...50 kΩ (UNITEST TESTFIX
0...100 Ω).
Contact the system parts to be tested with the test
probes.

The test beep is audible when contacting and elec-
trically conducting connection at a resistance of
0...50 kΩ (UNITEST TESTFIX range 0...100 Ω).
Additionally, for UNITEST TESTFIX electronic the
DOUBLE LED lights green for the range 0...500 Ω
and red for the range 500...50 kΩ.

The lamp is illuminated when contacting an electri-
cally conducting resistance of 0...50 kΩ (UNITEST
TESTFIX range 0...100 Ω).
Additionally, for UNITEST TESTFIX electronic the
DOUBLE LED lights green for the range 0...500 Ω
and red for the range 500...50 kΩ.
4.3 Semiconductor
(only UNITEST TESTFIX electronic)
Using the UNITEST TESTFIX for semiconductor
testing could lead to the destruction on the
semiconductor components, as the test current
can represent up to 200 mA. The maximum test
current for UNITEST TESTFIX electronic
amounts to 50 µA.
Carry out the semiconductor tests in voltage-
free circuits. If required, discharge capacitors.
Verify this condition prior to testing by using an
appropriate measurement instrument, e.g. UNI-
TEST Digital Multimeter 93427.
Only touch test leads and test probes at handles
provided.
The batteries supplies the required test voltage of
approx. 4.5 V. The red test probe represents the
"positive pole", the black test probe the "negative
pole". Possible testing within the range of 0...50 kV.
