OPERATION
During the supply voltage drop
the „H" is no more shown. In
spite of this the hot fields can be
still hot!
Important! If the cooking plate is
started again after the renewed
switching on or after the supply volt-
age drop, a short „self-test" will be
performed. The „H" will be displayed
on the residual heat indicator during
about 45 to 60 minutes. The indica-
tion of residual heat is not based on
the measurement of a value, but on
the calculation depending on the
operating time of hot fields. After the
pause caused by the supply voltage
drop the highest possible tempera-
ture and the longest cooling time are
taken into account and therefore the
indication time is so long lasting.
This is of no importance for the fur-
ther operation of the cooking plate.
Reduction of working time
In order to increase its reliability the he ating
plate has been equipped with the working
time reduction device for each of its heating
fields. The maximum wor king time is set
according to the recently selected heating
power level.
If you do not change the heating power level
for a long time (see table), the he ating field
is automatically switched off and the residual
heating indicator ac ti va ted. However, you can
switch on and use individual heating fields
any time in accordance with the in struc tions
for use.
