Problem
The power tool is ready for operation,
but no nails are discharged.
The nails are driven in too deep.
The nails are not driven in deep enough. The battery is discharged or defective.

Cause
The magazine (14) is empty.
The discharge lock-off (2) is bent.
The electronic system is defective.
The user interface (10) is defective.
The following components may be faulty:
– Trigger (6)
– Driver blade
– Motor or drive belt
– Electronics
– Rubber bands
Foreign objects have accumulated in the
shot mechanism.
Foreign objects have accumulated in the
outlet (18) or in the magazine (14).
A nail is jammed in the shot duct.
The magazine slider (15) is defective.
The spring of the magazine slider is too
weak or defective.
The fasteners being used are not ap-
proved.
The magazine (14) is empty.
The fasteners have been pressed in the
wrong order.
The depth stop is set too deep.
The buffer is worn.
Corrective measure
– Refill the magazine (see " Loading the
magazine (see figures A1–A4)",
page 24).
– Contact an authorised Bosch after-
sales service centre. Have the com-
ponent replaced there.
– Contact an authorised Bosch after-
sales service centre.
– Contact an authorised Bosch after-
sales service centre.
– Contact an authorised Bosch after-
sales service centre. Have the com-
ponent replaced there.
– Contact an authorised Bosch after-
sales service centre. Have the com-
ponent replaced there.
– Clean the outlet (18) or the
magazine (14).
– Clear the jam (see "Clearing jams
(see figures E1–E2)", page 27).
– Clean the magazine slider (15) as re-
quired and make sure that the
magazine (14) is not contaminated.
– Contact an authorised Bosch after-
sales service centre. Have the com-
ponent replaced there.
– Use only original accessories. Only
the fasteners (nails, staples, etc.)
specified in the "Technical Data" table
may be used.
– Refill the magazine (see " Loading the
magazine (see figures A1–A4)",
page 24).
– Perform the discharging procedure
again, observing the correct order of
pressing when doing so.
– GNH 18V-64-2 M, GNH 18V-64 MD:
Change the actuation mode via the
user interface.
– Adjust the depth stop to the required
depth (see "Adjusting the depth stop
(see figure D)", page 26).
– Contact an authorised Bosch after-
sales service centre. Have the com-
ponent replaced there.
– Fully recharge the battery or replace
it.
