You can return to the X-axis by pushing the but-
ton "H" (11).
You can switch off the slope function by pushing
the on/off button (9). The device will automatical-
ly align again. The device is completely aligned
once the central LED light stops blinking and
shows green permanently.
Using a laser receiver (optinal)
When working in an environment with high light
intensity (e.g. when working outdoor), the laser
line can hardly be seen. In those situations, a
laser receiver can detect the exact position of a
laser line.

Position a laser device with a receiver
∙ Mark the position that the laserline should indi-
cate, e.g. with a pencil on the wall.
∙ Switch on the receiver with the on/off button
(13).
∙ You can set the sound of the receiver in 3
modes: silent (no sound), medium, high volume.
Just push the volume button (15) to switch be-
x
tween modes.
∙ Position the central line of the receiver area
exactly on the marked point. You can use the
clamp (18) to make sure the receiver is posi-
tioned correctly and stable. Keep the receiver
vertically when setting the height; keep the re-
ceiver horizontally to position the vertical line
exactly on the marking.
∙ Change the height or turn the body of the laser
device until the laser line shines in the receiver
area. The laser position indicators (17) show red.
You also hear an interrupted beep-signal (ex-
cept if the sound is switched off).
∙ Keep changing the height or turning the body
until the central LED shows blue. You hear a
continuous beep-sound (except if the sound is
switched off).
Position the laser receiver exactly on the laser
line.
