b) Inserting/removing battery
• Slide the battery into the battery slot until it clicks into place.
• To remove the battery, press the release button on the battery and pull it out of the battery slot (3).
c) Mounting sliding shoe
When working on sensitive surfaces, it is recommended to mount the sliding shoe. It helps to avoid scratch-
ing the surfaces.
• Attach the sliding shoe (10) to the base of the jigsaw.
• The snap-in noses on the back must snap into the base of the jigsaw.
• To remove the sliding shoe, unlock the snap-in noses and pull it off the base of the jigsaw.
