Install the screw-in heater with the supplied flat gasket in the
flat sleeve or seal with hemp, PTFE or other similar sub-
stance. An a/f 60 spanner should be used for this.
Installation using pliers or similar is not permissible.

Remove the upper part of the casing by undoing the four
screws. The connection cable must be threaded through the
supplied cable gland in the connection compartment of the
screw-in heater. Ensure the connection cable is large
enough.

Establish the electrical connection (see chapter 1.3 on page
2). The supply voltage is obtained externally (e.g. subdistri-
bution) and the switching contact should be tapped from the
heat pump manager. Make sure that the connection voltage
is correct. Before initial commissioning, all of the connec-
tions must be checked against the circuit diagram once
more.

The screw-in heaters are connected in star connection (tri-
ple-phase 3 - 400volts) as standard and designed for direct
control (see Fig. 1.1 on page 2, circuit diagram for triple-
phase connection). The star point must not be connected to
the protective conductor. The connection point for the pro-
tective conductor is marked separately.

After the electrical connection has been established, the
casing must still be carefully rotated into the preferred posi-
tion. The casing seals must not be either shifted or dam-
aged. The original screws with washers must be used. Leak-
age caused by improper installation does not constitute a
warranty claim.
10) Then refill the buffer tank (heating circuit) and purge if re-
quired. Check the sleeve between the radiator and the tank
and put back the heat pump side panel.
