5. Si le produit est équipé d'une direction assistée,
maintenir le levier de direction gauche (D) pour
tourner à gauche. Maintenir le levier de direction
droit pour tourner à droite.

Arrêt de la machine
1. Placer l'interrupteur ON/OFF (marche/arrêt) en
position OFF (arrêt).
2. Retirer la clé ON/OFF (marche/arrêt).
Utilisation du commutateur de
carburant
•
Tourner le commutateur de carburant ou fermer le
robinet de carburant. Utiliser le produit lorsque le
commutateur de carburant se trouve à la position
OPEN (ouvert).

Utilisation de la commande de
l'étrangleur
•
Tourner la commande du volet de départ (A) afin
d'ouvrir ou de fermer la soupape du volet de départ.
Utiliser le volet de départ pour démarrer le moteur
lorsqu'il est froid.

Réglage des plaques de protection
Aucun réglage n'est requis pour l'installation normale.
1. Si le contre-écrou (B) est lâche ou la plaque de
protection (A) n'est pas suffisamment élevée du sol,
déverrouiller le contre-écrou (B) à l'aide d'une clé de
13 mm à extrémité ouverte afin de déplacer la
plaque de protection vers le haut ou vers le bas.
2. Sur les surfaces planes, comme les routes
asphaltées, relever la barre de protection (A) de 5 à
6 mm (de 0,2 à 0,25 po) à partir du sol. Sur les
surfaces inégales, comme le gravier, s'assurer que
l'espacement entre le sol et le produit est plus grand
au moyen des plaques de protection afin que la
barre du racleur se trouve au-dessus du gravier.
Assurez-vous que le gravier et les pierres n'entrent
pas dans le produit. Des blessures personnelles
peuvent survenir si des objets sont éjectés à grande
vitesse.
3. Fixer le contre-écrou (B).

5. If the choke was used to start the engine, slowly
move the choke (C) to the OFF position.
6. Run the engine 2-3 minutes at idling speed before
you start to throw snow.
7. If the engine does not run correctly, turn it off.
T T o start the engine, electric start
WARNING The product has a 120 V A.C.
electric starter. Do not use the electric
starter if your house is not a 120 V A.C.
three-wire grounded system. Serious
personal injury or damage to the product
could occur. The electric starter has a three-
wire power plug, and is designed to use 120
V A.C. household current. Ensure that your
house is a 120 V A.C. three-wire grounded
system. If you are uncertain, consult a
licensed electrician.
1. IPut the ON/OFF key (A) in the ignition slot until it
clicks. Do not turn the key.

2. Turn the fuel ON/OFF switch (F) to the ON position.
3. Put the ON/OFF switch (B) to the ON position.
a) If the engine is cold, turn the choke (C) to the
FULL position.
4. Push the primer (D) three times.
CAUTION Do not over prime the engine.
It can prevent the engine from starting. If
the engine is over primed, wait a few
minutes before you try to start and do
not push the primer.
5. Connect the extension cord to the engine (E).
6. Connect the other end of the extension cord into a
three-hole grounded 120 V A.C. receptacle.
7. Push the electric start button (G) until the engine
starts.

CAUTION Do not crank the engine more
than five continuous seconds between
each time you try to start. Wait 5 to 10
seconds between each start.
8. If the choke was used to start the engine, release the
electric start button and slowly move the choke (C)
to the OFF position.
9. Disconnect the extension cord from the receptacle
first and then from the engine.
10. Run the engine 2-3 minutes at idling speed before
you start to throw snow.
To operate the product
CAUTION Do not operate without snow or
water to lubricate the auger blades. Incorrect
use can cause high temperatures in the
auger blades, especially if the product is
new. This can cause damage to the auger
blades and scraper bar.
CAUTION Do not partially engage drive or
auger levers for an extended period of time;
this can lead to premature wear or burning
of the belts.
Note When both the drive engagement and auger
engagement are engaged, the drive engagement will
lock the auger engagement in position. Use the right
hand to control the snow discharge chute.
Note Do not change the speed when the augers are
engaged. This can cause damage to the transmission.
1. To engage the auger blades, push the auger
engagement (A) to the handle to engage the auger
and throw snow.

2. Raise the drive speed control lever (B) from the
middle position to make the product move forward
when the drive engagement (C) is engaged. Do not
change the speed when the augers are engaged.
This can cause damage to the transmission.
