Use of the Microphone Stand
You can screw a standard market-sold microphone stand into the 3/8-
inch microphone stand screw-hole on the bottom of this unit to adjust
to the ideal height for use as a monitor.
Usage Conditions
Make sure that you fully understand the following information to ensure
that you use this product correctly.
• Use the microphone stand at a height of 120 cm (approximately 3.94 ft)
or lower (see illustration). If you use the stand at any greater height,
the system may tip over and cause injury or damage.
• Open the tripod legs at least 63 cm (approximately 2.07 ft) apart (see
illustration). If the legs are any closer together, the system may tip
over and cause injury or damage.
• Do not use the microphone stand in an unstable location or on a slope.
If you use the stand on an unstable location, it may tip over and cause
injury or damage.
• Carefully route the cables that are connected to the SOUNDBOX mini
to keep them out of the way. If someone trips over a cable, the system
may tip over and cause injury or damage.
• Do not place anything on the SOUNDBOX mini that is mounted on
the speaker stand. The object may fall down, or the stand may tip over
and cause injury or damage.
• Do not install in a way that the center of gravity is tilted, such as using
a boom, etc.
The stand may tip over and cause injury or damage.
When using while attached to a microphone stand,
pay attention to the following matters.
Greater than 63 cm
• Be careful not to pinch your fingers.
• Do not tilt the stand with the SOUNDBOX mini mounted on it.
• Never change the height of the stand while the SOUNDBOX mini is
mounted on it.
• Make sure that the height from the floor to the bottom of the SOUND-
BOX mini (see illustration) is 120 cm (approximately 3.94 ft ) or less.
• Do not use when attached to a stand in a location where there is heavy
vibration or strong wind.
