18. Maintenance
It is easier to keep the machine in good condition or best performance by means of maintaining it at any time.
Daily maintenance
18.1

Fill the lubricant before starting the machine every day.
-
If the temperature of the spindle causes overheating or strange noises, stop the machine immediately to
check it.

Keep the work area clean. Release the vise, cutter and the work piece from the table. Switch off the power
source. Take chip or dust away from the machine and follow the instructions considering lubricating or
coating rust proof oil before leaving.

18.2 Weekly maintenance

Clean the cross leading screw and coat it with oil.

Check to see if the sliding surface and turning parts lack lubricant. If there is not enough lubricant, fill it.
18.3 Monthly maintenance
-
Adjust the gap of the slide of both the cross and longitudinal feed.

Lubricate the bearing; worm and worm shaft to avoid wear.
18.4 Yearly maintenance
-
Put the table in a horizontal position for maintenance of accuracy.

Check electric cords, plugs, and switches at least once a year to avoid loosening or wearing.
